Read this before subscribing

The boring, important details.

How am I billed?
Apple bills you monthly as an auto-renewing in-app subscription through the App Store. We never see your card. Manage or cancel anytime from Settings → Apple ID on iPhone or iPad.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no introductory offer configured. If a future trial is added, it will say so on this page in plain English.
What about refunds?
Refunds are handled by Apple under the standard App Store policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why not a yearly plan?
A yearly tier is on the roadmap. We won't ship a discount we don't yet honor, so for now there's only the monthly plan.
Who needs the subscription?
If you're happy reading your burn on the Mac you sit at every day, you don't. The subscription pays for features that have to run on OpenBurnBar's infrastructure — hosted quota refresh, cross-device backup, the relay. Local-first stays free.
What about teams?
There is no team plan today. Each developer subscribes individually through their own App Store account. A team SKU is on the roadmap.
Sign-in requirement?
A Firebase account (Apple or Google sign-in) is required so the entitlement document can be bound to your UID, plus an Apple ID signed into the App Store on the device used to purchase.
What can be cancelled later?
All of it. Subscription, individual sync toggles, hosted credentials, iCloud mirroring, and Sentry diagnostics — each one is a separate switch with a clear cancellation path.
